Construction of a “free-standing triple-fronted home”. The request was to expand the home by raising the existing garage and arrange a number of extra rooms in the newly created space.
Thanks to the shape of the site, the choice was made to orient the homme towards the adjoining garden.
This results in an extension with a similar volume to that of the original home, although without a saddle roof and plastered instead of having external brickwork.
A glazed transition space is located between the two volumes to the left and right, which also gives a visitor a view towards the meadows behind the house.
